Tobias was in Prague
This Wednesday I went with my colleague Stefan to Prague. We had to visit our office in this city for trainings and meetings. We started on Wednesday at 15:00 in Hirschau by our headquarter.
At noon it began to snowing like hell. So we could travel only very slowly. Surprisingly we traveled away from the snow and on half way the roads went try. We arrived at about 19:00 in Prague by our hotel “Villa Revova” (www.villarevova.cz). I was already twice in this hotel. It is small and simple, but have very nice rooms.
On the same evening we meet some of our Czech colleagues in the city for dinner. I traveled the first time with the subway in Prague. It is quite easy. Because the have only 3 lines.
We eaten directly on the river ”Vltava” (German: Moldau) in a small nice fish restaurant. After it we made a short visit by the famous “Charles Bridge” and visit the bar “Papas”. The cocktails there are very good and compared to some other cities affordable.
The next day was a working day. But in the evening we went out with our Czech colleague Jasmina for another tour thought the city. After a good dinner with a lot of meat, we visit the most famous places in the old town. The Christmas markets where already closed and so we went back to our hotel. The only thing what was not so nice, was the rain in this evening.
On Friday morning, when I went up, everything was with. Over night it snowed between 5 – 10 cm and it was still snowing. After the breakfast we checked out and went back to our office. We planned to traveling home at 14:00. But it went different. We leaved the office at 16:15 by a snowy and rainy weather. After over 3 hours with some traffic jams I was home at 19:00.
It was a good trip. We worked what we had to do and have seen this nice city in winter time. Next time I want see this city again in summer. Maybe I make a vacation there.

Tobias goes to Switzerland
Letztes Wochenende machte ich einen Kurztrip zu meiner Schwester nach Luzern. Dies war mein erster Autotrip und auch der erste Besuchbei meiner Schwester in die Schweiz. Es war zwar nur über das Wochenende, jedoch brauchte ich mal eine Ablenkung von meiner aktuellen Gefühlslage.
Von Schönkirch aus hat man ca. 600 Kilometer nach Luzern. Ich fuhr also am Freitag 10:30 Uhr los. Wie ihr sicher wisst, war dies das Wochenende, wo der Wintereinbruch durch den Wetterdienst angekündigt wurde. Ich hatte schon die Befürchtung, dass ich im Schneechaos versinke. Allerdings war dem nicht so.
Es hat zwar die ganze Zeit durchgehend gestürmt und stark geregnet. Aber nicht geschneit. Kurz vor der österreichischen Grenze in Lindau machte ich meine erste Pause. Dies auch nur, um mir die nötigen Vignetten für Österreich und die Schweiz zu holen. Hier wird man so richtig abgezockt. Diesen Beitrag weiterlesen »
